He knew immediately that she was one of the Sweets. Hell she was the spitting image of his Uncle Rick's wife.

Jackson: Good day, Miss Sweet. Please come in. Have a seat.

He smiled at her and nodded.

Jackson: I would appreciate that. Thank you.

He watched her get her things settled.

Jackson: Would you care for a drink before we get started?

He answered her questions with a smile on his face until she got to one question. He frowned at her a bit ticked off about that one.

Parker: That is a bit personal, but no. I am not gay, Miss Sweet.

He was shocked and pissed off to hear that.

Jackson: I would have to say that someone has their facts wrong and should be looking towards one of my cousins instead. Are we about finished?

He looked at her walking away.

Jackson: Set back down, Miss Sweet. Finish your questions.

He took a deep breath and looked at her.

Jackson: I would like for you to set and finish the interview, Miss Sweet.

He sighed thinking about it.

Parker: I know how my family views me. I can assure you that I am not gay. I just choose to keep the women in my life private. My family have not met them and I have every intention of it remaining so.

He nodded and sighed.

Parker: Thank you for your time, Miss Sweet. It was...Let's just say it was nice meeting you.

Parker was heading out for a meeting and saw her there.

Parker: I thought you would be gone by now, Miss Sweet. Was there something else that you needed?

He nodded and slipped into the backseat of his car. He was on the phone already by the time his driver had shut the door.

Parker: Find out the usual information, Welch.

Parker finished his meeting then headed to the address he was given. He walked in and looked around.

Parker: Hello, Miss Sweet.

He handed her an envelope.

Parker: I wish to make a donation.

He looked at the paper making sure that it was legit before he did as she asked.

Parker: I will need a paper for my accountant so it can be added to the taxes.

He smiled and nodded as he tucked the paper into his jacket pocket.

Parker: Are you free for dinner tonight?

He nodded.

Parker: I will pick you up at 9 then.

Parker: I will see you at 9 then. Have a good day, Miss Sweet.

He left and headed out to the car while talking on his phone arranging things for their dinner.

When 9 pm arrived, Parker was outside in the back of the car. His driver and head of security went inside to let Tori know that the car would be waiting when she was ready. Parker would have gone in himself but he was on the phone with his sister.

Parker: Please just do it for me.

He hung up the phone and smiled at his guest.

Parker: Hello, Miss Sweet. You had a nice afternoon?

He smiled and nodded.

Parker: It went well. I accomplished all that I set out to accomplish for the day.

They drove to his brother's property where there was a helicopter waiting.

Jackson: We will be flying to Seattle for dinner.

He nodded frowning a bit.

Jackson: Is there something wrong with Seattle?

He frowned when she said that.

Jackson: If I'm not mistaken, our families know each other intimately.

He turned to look at her.

Jackson: Have I given you reason yet to think I may be one of the bad ones? So far I have been nothing but nice. Even during your questions at the interview.

He led her to the helicopter and let her in first.

Jackson: Set there in the front. I'll help you get strapped in.

He helped her with the seats harness and grinned.

Jackson: Don't touch any of the instruments or buttons please.

He put a pair of headphones on her then a pair on himself.

Jackson: Can you hear me?

He talked to the flight tower getting clearance and the okay for his flight plan. He smiled over at her before they started on their way.

Jackson: We're flying blind tonight. It is too dark to see where we are going through the windows so we have to rely on instruments.

He looked over at her and smiled.

Jackson: Does it make you feel better to know that I have done this hundreds of times and I haven't died yet?

He looked at her and smiled then looked back at the instrument panels. Half an hour later he was landing the helicopter on the top of one of the buildings. He shut everything down then removed her headset and unstrapped her.

Jackson: Still in one piece.

He led her to the roof access door and punched in the code. From there they went to the elevator where he had to put in another code.

Jackson: We will drive back if it will make you more comfortable.

He let her leave the elevator first then unlocked the door to his apartment.  He watched her look around.

Jackson: If at any time you don't feel comfortable, Tayler is within yelling distance.

He frowned again when he looked at her.

Jackson: If you wish to go out, we can. I am sure we can find someplace still open.

He understood that. He didn't really have friends. He had people who worked for him and he had his family which he rarely saw.

Jackson: Please make yourself comfortable. I will get us a glass of wine.

He sat beside her on the large couch.

Jackson: Mrs. Jones needs a few more minutes to put the finishing touches on our dinner.

He watched her a few seconds smiling.

Jackson: I have something I need from you, Piper. If you don't mind.

He handed her a piece of paper.

Jackson: I need you to sign this. All it says is that you promise not to tell anybody anything about or time together.

He shook his head and looked at her.

Jackson: That's not it at all. I don't mind if people know you are with me. I am fine with that. It is just that there are certain aspects of my life that I wish to remain private. My private life remains private. That is all the paper is asking.

He smiled when she signed it.

Jackson: Thank you. That means a lot to me.

He reached out and pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Jackson: There's a lot of very private things that I would like to share with you in time.

He nodded agreeing with her.

Jackson: Dinner is ready.

He pulled her hair back over her shoulders and smiled.

Jackson: You have a beautiful neck. You should show it off.

He sat at the table and refilled their wine glasses.

Jackson: Beef wellington and asparagus.

He watched her as she ate.

Jackson: What made you decide to work with animals?

He listened intently wanting to learn all he could about her.

Jackson: What kind of animals do you usual deal with?

He frowned a bit hearing that.

Jackson: Isn't that dangerous?

He was still worried about that. It sounded very dangerous to him.

Jackson: Any other dangerous animals living with you?

He frowned a little bit thinking about it.

Jackson: Isn't there someone else who could care for them? A zoo or something?

He looked at her empty plate and smiled.

Jackson: Thank you for finishing it all. I really hate wasted food.

He smiled and nodded.

Jackson: Yes it was. Mrs. Jones is an outstanding cook and housekeeper.

He nodded and called for Taylor to get the car ready.

Jackson: I would like to see you again.

He smiled and stood.

Jackson: Taylor is ready downstairs.

He watched her for a few minutes on the drive.

Jackson: It was a nice evening. Thank you.

He too her elbow in his hand and walked with her to the door.

Jackson: May I ask you a rather personal question, Miss Sweet?

He kept his eyes on locked on hers wanting to be certain that she was being honest in her answer.

Jackson: When it comes to new experiences, are you willing to keep an open mind?
