Charles was lonely. He had been couped up at home for far too long. He needed out of the house even if it was for only an hour. That was why he went against his father's complaints and decided to go to the park for a bit.

He had been walking around and realized he was getting a bit out of breath. He found a bench and sat down for a bit to rest.

He smiled as he watched a few squirrel playing and chasing each other around in the grass. He wished he was able to do stuff like that. But he would have to have someone to play in the grass with also.

That was something else he was missing in his life. He thought he had someone but she had to leave. She had no choice. He missed her like crazy too.

He was getting ready to get up and head back home when a shadow came over him.

As soon as she was able to return, Jaxon was on the first flight back.  She had went to the house and was looking for Charles.  He wasn't there... She then went looking around a bit, feeling he wouldn't go far as she smiled seeing him at the park.

She gasped a bit, startled when he did that.  As she laughed a bit nodding her head as she looked at him, happy he was so happy to see her.

She said as he was first on her list when she arrived.  She had missed him, and hoped to spend a little time with him.

He thought about the time she was gone.

She actually wasn't sure.  She actually didn't even stay in the house long enough to talk to Rick.  she had just let him know she was there, then went looking for Charlie.

She thought about it, as it could be very true.  Rick had known in advance that she would be coming back, so the room could have been cleaned and made ready for her to use again.

She smiled when he nodded as they got up and walked back together, talking on the way.  Once they were back, Rick helped his son in, making sure he was seated as soon they were all in the living room chatting a bit..

Charles rolled his eyes at his dad. He had been doing better since surgery. His father was still treating him as if he was sick.
He looked over at Jaxon who was trying not to laugh.
"I had that surgery two weeks ago that we had talked about. Today was actually my first day out since surgery."

Jaxon looked at him as she was thinking about it, as that did make sense to her.  She knew that he needed to heal up a bit, and it would take a little time for him to be fully healed.

He fell asleep pretty quickly. It was his usual restless sleep though. Bad dreams had him tossing and turning like they always had.
He tried to wake himself up, but he had never had any luck with that.
